Permits On-site well and sewage disposal permits are issued for homes and businesses that are not served by a municipal system. Upon application, Sanitarians will conduct field evaluations, review submitted plans, and consult with homeowners and contractors to ensure proper installation.
Site Survey (aka Perc Test) Site Surveys are done to determine the suitability of on-site sewage systems. The Sanitarian conducts field evaluations to determine soil types, ground water elevations, distances to surface waters and other site conditions that may affect the suitability for on-site sewage disposal.
